Training & Courses Committee

The Training and Courses sub-committee meet monthly to organise various events on behalf of the GSCCA. The range of events include;

· Courses on accounting and auditing standards
· Taxation courses
· Lunch time presentations on topical issues as well as technical subject matter
· Meetings providing updates on local financial legislation
· Annual Quiz
· Events to promote accountancy as a career

The committee represents the accountancy industry in Guernsey and will welcome members to join it to help spread the load of organising events.

A representative of the committee visits the senior schools of Guernsey to present to students on behalf of all firms and we have a stand at the Annual Careers Convention at Beau Sejour which is manned by both qualified and student members.
