Whilst it is recognised that our members will generally have trained in an environment which enforces UK accounting, auditing and other regulatory standards, as a well regulated UK offshore financial centre, Guernsey provides many specialised services involving clients from all continents which bring unique issues for professional accountants.

The technical sub-committee is a forum where members can discuss these matters, which would not necessarily be relevant and hence receive the focus in larger financial centres, to establish practical solutions for the Guernsey finance industry and commerce in general.
